Alaska Gold Rush
Artist: Murthy Mantha
Dimensions (D x W x H): 14.00in x 18.00in
In Alaska Gold Rush, a part of American history is represented by this gold dredging station that has seen many glorious days glittering with gold, providing hope and jobs for many Americans. Now a days, it is still popular, but, mainly as a tourist attraction near Fairbanks, Alaska. I found gold only in that I got a good subject matter to paint. I tried to bring this rusted building to life by rendering in bright reds and yellows with strong emphasis on design. Looking at this painting up close, one can see all the mechanical details, lights and shadows and some workers as well.
