Aerialist Dreaming

‘Aerialist Dreaming’ represents a lifetime ambition of a young friend, who, with a special drivers permit left home at age 15 to drive alone to circus school in Montreal. There, through ordinary hard work & daily practice she followed her dream of becoming an extraordinary aerialist. Here she is shown sleeping, as if to blur the lines between dream time & the reality of waking practice. Which is ordinary? And which extraordinary?
