Krissi has a background in museum education, public education, art non-profits, and studio art. She studied painting and drawing and art history at UNT and art education at TWU. She has taught AP art at the high school level as well as various art classes at the college level. She has created murals for restaurants as well as pediatricians offices and participated in several juried art competitions. She is fascinated by the way color evokes memory and emotion. Her work is heavily influenced by the spaces we inhabit daily and how color can change the way we experience those spaces. Currently, Krissi is the Cultural Arts Events Manager for the Town of Flower Mound. She lives in Denton with her husband Troy, her son Greysen, and her daugher Kat.
