Haystack at Sunset
America was built with the help of the farmer. Today the farmer continues to supply the needs of our country. We often see our landscape with large rolls of hay to feed the livestock of the farmer. The farmer works from sunup to sundown to complete his tasks. When we take a closer look at the bale of hay at sunset, we see the weaving of golden fibers that make up the bale. The color changes seen remind us of Monet’s observations at an earlier time.
